Its innovative oil-based formula is more of a pampering treat, employing plant-powered ingredients rich in AHAs, essential fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals to lift away dead skin cells and unlock a brighter, smoother, more even skin tone while you sit back and relax for 10-30 minutes. It’s suitable for all skin types, too – even sensitive, oily, acne-prone and mature – and improves the absorption of forthcoming skincare products once wiped away with the included muslin cloth, which also provides gentle exfoliating action. Apply it 1-3 times a week, always following with French Farmacie’s Sérum Radiant.

Can I use it without the muslin cloth?

We recommend using the complementary muslin cloth to remove your Élixir Exfoliant, as this gives the skin an extra bit of exfoliation. The muslin cloth is also a gentler alternative to a flannel and doesn’t cause damage to the skin. Just make sure to always treat the skin with care; over-scrubbing can cause irritation or disrupt its barrier.

What’s the benefits of an oil-based exfoliant?

Unlike other exfoliators that use physical exfoliators and can sometimes cause irritation and redness, Élixir Exfoliant has an oil base and harnesses plant-based ingredients for a gentler chemical exfoliation. Is it okay to use on acne-prone skin?

Of course! Élixir Exfoliant is non-comedogenic, so won’t clog the pores, and provides essential exfoliation to remove build-up that can lead to acne, revealing healthier, refreshed skin. The oil-based formula is also nourishing and won’t dry out the skin.
